Read more about the different types of campaigns here.
Choose Campaigns in the menu on the left.
Step 1: Name and type
There are two types of campaigns: email or text campaigns. If you want to send the feedback request by email to your contacts, choose email. The other option is to send texts to your contacts with a feedback request.
Step 2: Select your audience
To whom do you want to send this campaign? Choose one of the smart groups you've created or create a new smart group first.
Step 3: Form type and language
You can also create a new form that fits your event-based campaign.
Step 4: Pick a template for your campaign
Click 'Next' to choose a template for your campaign.
Campaigns by email
Click on 'view example' underneath the boxes to see what the templates look like.
It is also possible to create your own template in HTML. This can be a template you've used before or a new one. If you want to create a new template from the basics, choose 'Create new template'.
Campaigns by text
For campaigns by text, you can pick an existing text from the left (after clicking on one, you can click on View example to see what the text looks like). It is also possible to create your own template from scratch.
Step 5: Advanced settings
By clicking on Advanced settings, you can also connect the campaign to a specific department or person in your company, you can fill in the name of the sender and fill in the email address you want the receiver to reply to.
Step 6: Connect to appointment date
If you want to connect the campaign to an appointment date and time, you can click on Appointment: start date/end date. If you add an item to your (i.e. Google) calendar, you can invite the email address that belongs to the smart group you use. You can copy this email address from your address book. The item is now connected to the campaign and the person will automatically receive a feedback request after the appointment.
This is not necessary when your Ratecard is connected with the software you use for appointments.
You can choose whether you want to send the feedback request immediately after your appointment or specify a delay.
Step 7: Start campaign!
At page 3, you can check all settings, confirm them and launch your event-based campaign. Feedback requests will now be sent to the smart group you've connected to it automatically. Of course, you can keep adding people you want to be in the event-based campaign to your smart group.
